The book features the history of the architecture and urban planning developed in the Latin American from 1885 to 1975. The work, structured using a methodology called "generational" by its author, spans 90 years (six generations). The names of these generations, each of which covers a period of 15 years, reflected in the titles of each chapter of the book. The texts of each historical period is linked with the analysis of specific architectural works in a panoramic vision of the studied reality.
