This novel is narrated by Mario, the ghost of a child that is trapped within the walls of an old building named The Three Dogs House. A place were other ghosts live as well, some of them good and awaiting for the afterlife, while others are lost in the darkness and seeking to do evil. One of them named Enrique wanders through the building while remembering and sharing stories with his friends Arminda and Porfirio, as well as giving himself time to watch the beautiful Albertina, a girl from the living that wants to communicate with her dead father. Without knowing, the living coexist with ghosts in such a way that many stories develop and intertwine with the help of Mario, who at the same time tells us about the period when he was alive.
